Meet my colleagues in some of the most popular destinations outside Rome
and be welcomed like a local
A native of Buffalo, NY, I was called to Italy over 20 years ago to discover my roots as my grandparents emigrated to New York from southern Italy. While I arrived with only a suitcase and a lot of curiosity, I now have an Official National Italian Tour Guide License from Rome, a Masters degree in Art History, an Italian passport (and driving license!), a Roman husband and 2 small children.
Having done advanced research in both Florence and Rome, specializing in Renaissance history and the ancient Etruscan civilization, I benefited from learning out in the field and living history. It is now my great fortune to share my knowledge and passion for Italian history, art, architecture and culture through private walks of the eternal city and freelance travel writing.
